The price

Why $2K, not $20K?

Agencies quote your full roadmap, and $20,000 or more is common. Here you ship the one flow that matters first, put it in front of real users and build the rest on what you learn.

  1. 01

Scope down to what you need to validate.

v1 ships the core flow and nothing else. It goes live fast and shows whether users want it.

  2. 02

One senior engineer using Claude Code.

AI writes code fast, and I review and test every part myself. No PMs, no account managers and no hand-offs on the invoice.

  3. 03

    v2 comes after traction.

I'm not here to upsell you a roadmap. I'd rather ship what you need now, watch it get traction, and build the next iteration with you.

The build

From scope to launch

What happens from the scoping offer to go-live.

  1. Plan and price agreed

Before any work starts, I send you an offer to approve. It lists every screen and feature, the timeline and a fixed price. Once you accept it, you pay a 30% deposit and I start.

  2. Progress you can check any time

You get short updates as I go and can see where things stand in your client area at any time. Partway through, you also get a link to the working app to click through yourself.

  3. Your feedback, worked through

You tell me what to adjust or polish, and I make those tweaks before launch.

  4. Your app goes live, and it's all yours

You check the finished app on a test link against the agreed list and pay the remaining 70%. Then the app goes live. Code, accounts and handover notes are yours. Some projects still wait on outside approvals, such as a payment provider or the Apple App Store and Google Play, and I keep handling their review feedback until they approve.

If something changes along the way, you hear it from me first, before it affects anything.

Who builds it

  • 15+ years shipping products
  • Based in New Jersey, US

I'm Boris, and I build every MVP myself. I've spent more than 15 years in product engineering, mostly at startups, often as the first or only engineer. I ship with Claude Code for speed and review every line for quality. I've built booking systems, marketplaces and online stores, payments and subscriptions, logistics tools, fintech apps and AI assistants.

What founders say

Incredibly talented, highly conscientious, and a true builder.Read the full recommendation

I’ve worked closely with Boris Abramov as the full stack engineer and architect behind Yuru, and he’s one of the rare people who brings both deep technical skill and real product judgment to the table.

Boris cares about building things the right way, with clean architecture, thoughtful systems, and long term quality, while also staying focused on getting real products into users’ hands. He also, has worked very closely with AI data scientists and excels in working on cutting-edge AI issues like identity and context management for persistent users, stuff that isn't readily available in the market yet.

He is highly engaged in decision making beyond just engineering, consistently thinking through tradeoffs, pushing for pragmatic solutions, and helping guide the team toward outcomes that move the business forward.

Just as important, he shows up with a level of ownership and sincerity that makes him easy to trust and great to work with.

Incredibly talented, highly conscientious, and a true builder.

I had the pleasure of working with Boris on several software projects where he held the role of Senior Software Developer. Boris uniquely combines deep technical expertise with exceptional communication skills, which is a rare and valuable combination in this field. His attention to detail is outstanding, often identifying crucial elements that others might overlook.

Boris is also a fantastic team player—working with him is always comfortable and productive due to his approachable personality and clear communication style. I highly recommend Boris for any Senior Developer or Team Lead position. His potential for contributing to the team’s success and driving growth within the company is great.

Boris is great and professional developer, I have started few projects with him from zero to market. He has executed everything starting from very simple concept to highload applications. He can adapt and work in different conditions settling up team of developers and designers in a very effective way.

Is this for you?

This is for you if

  • You need to validate the idea before spending serious money
  • You know the core loop your MVP has to prove
  • You want a senior engineer, not an agency with PMs in between
  • You want scope, price and timeline locked before kickoff

Not a fit if you need HIPAA, SOC 2 or PCI compliance on day one, or a full team built to scale from launch.

Questions

Questions founders ask

Are the delivery times guaranteed?

They are honest estimates, not a legal commitment. Most projects finish on time or earlier. Sometimes something unexpected happens, such as an unusually busy week or a problem specific to your project that nobody could have known about. Even then the delay is usually a day or two.

If I see a delay coming, I tell you right away, not on the last day, so you have time to adjust your plans. If you have a hard deadline, tell me before we start.

Waiting on third parties is not counted in those days. App store reviews, payment provider approvals and similar checks by services your project depends on are outside my control. The days next to a package cover my own work. If an Apple app review drags on, I keep handling it, but that time isn't part of the estimate.

What counts as a screen or feature?

A screen is a page a user sees, such as a sign-up page, a dashboard or a settings page. A feature is something the app does, such as sending an email, taking a payment or uploading a file. Login, sign-up and password reset are included and don't count. Before I start I list everything else, so we both know what the package covers.

What stack do you use?

Usually Next.js and React on the web, Flutter or React Native for iPhone and Android, and Node.js or Django with PostgreSQL on the back end. I pick what fits your MVP and explain the choice in the offer. If you or your team already have a preferred stack, tell me before we start.

Do you use AI to build it?

Yes. I build with Claude Code, which is why one week and these prices are possible. I design the architecture, steer the build and test the app myself.

Do you know the technologies, or just rely on AI?

I only build with technologies I know well. AI is only worth using on work you understand yourself. I've worked with many of them across the whole stack, so I know what I'm doing. Claude Code handles the small details I don't need to memorize, so I can focus on what matters for your product. That is what makes these prices and timelines possible.

Will the code hold up past the MVP?

Yes. It's standard, readable code in your own repository, not a no-code export. The architecture is kept simple so it can grow, and you get handover notes, so a future hire or agency can pick it up without starting over.

An MVP is scoped to validate, not to handle massive scale on day one. Some parts will need more work as usage grows, and I tell you which ones.

Will I own the code?

Yes, once the order is paid in full.

Control and ownership are two different things. Control means the code, the accounts and the data are in your hands. You can give me access to your own repository and other accounts from the start, or I set everything up and hand it over when you're ready. If you don't have the accounts yet, I help you create them. I keep access only for as long as you want me to.

Ownership means the intellectual property in the code I write passes to you when the order is paid in full. For reviews, Finish my app and take-over milestones, that is before I start. For a Quick fix, it is when your card is charged. For a new app, it is when you make the final 70% payment.

Can you work with my technical co-founder?

Yes. We agree on the stack and conventions up front, and I can work in your repository from day one, so your co-founder sees every commit. If you already have code that needs finishing, Fix my app or a take-over is usually the better fit.

Who pays for hosting?

You do, directly to the provider with your own card. That can be hosting you already have, or one I help you choose and sign up for. Most new apps start on free or low-cost plans, and I tell you what each service costs.

Do I need App Store and Google Play accounts?

Yes, for an iPhone or Android app. Apple charges $99 a year and Google charges $25 once. The accounts are in your name, so the app is yours, and I help you set them up.

Who does the visual design?

I do, using Claude Design. That is enough for nearly every first version, so you usually don't need a professional designer at this stage. If you have wishes about the look, such as colors or a style you like, tell me at the start and I'll take them into account. If you have a Figma design from a designer, I can build from it, though for a first version that is usually more than you need.

Why not vibe-code it myself?

You can, and for a demo it often works. The trouble usually shows up later, in auth, payments, data access rules and deploys. AI writes code fast, but it needs an engineer who knows what good looks like to steer it and check the result. That's the part I bring.

If you've already vibe-coded something, I can review it or fix it.

What happens after v1?

You put it in front of users and see what they do. For 7 days after delivery I fix anything that doesn't work as we agreed, free. When you know what to build next, I send you an offer for the next milestone, priced the same fixed way. There is no retainer and no lock-in.

What if my idea is bigger than the packages?

Tell me about your idea and we'll decide together. Either we split it into a few packages done one after another, or we agree on a custom project.
