What I check

What I check, and what tends to go wrong

AI tools build what you ask for. They rarely bring up the things you didn't ask about.

  • Logins

Who can get in, and whether anyone can get in as someone else.

    Often found

A login that can be skipped or taken over.

  • Data

Who can read what, and who can change it.

    Often found

One user can see another user's data, or anyone on the internet can read the database.

  • Payments

Whether an order can be faked, skipped or lost.

    Often found

An order that can be marked as paid without a payment.

  • Going live

Where the app's secret keys are kept, and whether test settings were left on in the live app.

    Often found

Secret keys left where any visitor can copy them.

  • Speed

Parts of the app that will slow down as users and data grow, such as pages that load far more than they need.

    Often found

A page that loads every record at once, and gets slower with each new user.

  • It happens · Feb 2026

An app on Lovable's own showcase exposed 18,697 users' records.

The database access rules were wrong, so people who weren't signed in could read the data.

What you receive

What you receive

A written report that says what is solid, what is fragile and what could hurt you later. The issues are ranked by how much they matter, so you know what to fix first. There is no jargon in it and nothing written to frighten you.

Not included
  • A formal security test or a certificate.
  • A search for every bug. I check safety, data and speed, not whether every button works as it should.
  • If your app handles health, financial, children's or other sensitive data, you may need a certified audit as well.

How it goes

How it goes

What happens from your first message to the report in your hands.

  1. A free first look

Tell me what the app does and what worries you. I reply with an honest answer on which review fits, before you pay anything.

  2. Safe access to your app

You add me to the project in the tool you built it with, or to where its code is stored, such as GitHub. I never ask for your passwords.

  3. The review

I go through logins, data, payments, going live and speed. A Quick check covers the one area you're most worried about.

  4. Your report, in plain words

You get a written report with the issues ranked, so you know what to fix first. You can remove my access as soon as it's in. If you order Finish my app within 14 days, the review price counts toward it.

If I find something serious along the way, I tell you right away, without waiting for the report.

What you can count on

What you can count on

  • Fixed price.

The package price is the price you pay, however long the review takes me.

  • Nothing found, money back.

If a Quick check finds nothing worth fixing, you get your money back.

  • Plain-language report.

Every issue is explained in words you don't need an engineer to read, and ranked by what to fix first.

  • Your code stays private.

I use your code only for the review and never share it with other people. You can remove my access as soon as the report is in.

In their words

Incredibly talented, highly conscientious, and a true builder.Read the full recommendation

I’ve worked closely with Boris Abramov as the full stack engineer and architect behind Yuru, and he’s one of the rare people who brings both deep technical skill and real product judgment to the table.

Boris cares about building things the right way, with clean architecture, thoughtful systems, and long term quality, while also staying focused on getting real products into users’ hands. He also, has worked very closely with AI data scientists and excels in working on cutting-edge AI issues like identity and context management for persistent users, stuff that isn't readily available in the market yet.

He is highly engaged in decision making beyond just engineering, consistently thinking through tradeoffs, pushing for pragmatic solutions, and helping guide the team toward outcomes that move the business forward.

Just as important, he shows up with a level of ownership and sincerity that makes him easy to trust and great to work with.

I had the pleasure of working with Boris on several software projects where he held the role of Senior Software Developer. Boris uniquely combines deep technical expertise with exceptional communication skills, which is a rare and valuable combination in this field. His attention to detail is outstanding, often identifying crucial elements that others might overlook.

Boris is also a fantastic team player—working with him is always comfortable and productive due to his approachable personality and clear communication style. I highly recommend Boris for any Senior Developer or Team Lead position. His potential for contributing to the team’s success and driving growth within the company is great.

  • You're about to launch, or real users are already signing up

Questions

Questions about the review

Why not just ask my AI tool to review it?

You can, and it will find some things. But asking it to "check for all issues" doesn't do what it sounds like. The AI has no fixed idea of what "all issues" means, so it guesses what matters. It may call a minor detail serious and pass over a real risk without a word.

Good results come from asking about specific things, and the right things depend on the app. A shop, a booking tool and a members-only app each go wrong in different ways. I know which questions matter for your kind of app, and I verify every answer the AI gives against the code.

Even a clear list leaves the hard part, which is deciding what matters for you now, what can wait, and what each fix is worth. That's a judgement about benefits and trade-offs, and it's what an engineer is for.

If the review says it's fine, is my app guaranteed safe?

No, and nobody can honestly promise that. The review tells you what I found in the areas I checked. It makes a bad surprise much less likely.

Will you fix the issues?

Not as part of the review. The report tells you what to fix and in what order. You can do it yourself, give the list to your AI tool, or order a fix from me. If you order Finish my app within 14 days of a Quick check or Full review, the review price is deducted from the Finish my app price.

Will it find bugs?

It isn't a bug hunt. If I come across one I'll mention it, but I'm checking whether the app is safe, not whether every button works.

Do you need my passwords?

No. I only need to see the code, for example through an invitation to where it's stored, such as GitHub.

Is this a security certification?

No. It's a written review by an experienced engineer. If you need a certificate for a regulator or a large customer, that is a different service.
